The United Republic of Tanzania has received fund from World Bank towards the cost of the Water sector Development programme, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this fund to cover eligible payments under the contract for Construction of Transmission Mains and Associated Pipe Works for Bunda Township.
The Musoma Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (MUWASA) now invites sealed bids from eligible contractors registered or capable of being registered in class two and above for carrying out this contract.

The East African Community (EAC) has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) acting as the implementing Agency of the Global Environmental Facility (GEF) and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) towards the cost of activities under the second phase of the Lake Victoria Environmental Management Project (LVEMP II), and intends to apply part of the proceeds of these Grants for consultancy services. The services include review and harmonization of regional policies, legal and institutional frameworks governing utilization of water and other natural resources in the Lake Victoria Basin.
