Vision of the Ministry

The vision of the Ministry is to have sustainable management and development of water resources for social and economic development, and to enhance sustainable irrigation development that drives to increase productivity, profitability, increased incomes, food security, and therefore contribute effectively in economic growth and poverty reduction

To ensure that water resources are developed and managed sustainable in collaboration with all stakeholders. Also to facilitate participatory irrigation so as to enhance sustainable production and productivity, food security, poverty reduction and achieve national economic development.
